There are times in every change process when things just don’t feel natural.
What we are attempting to do just seems to be completely in opposition with our identity, with who we are.
One strategy that can be really helpful is just to start acting like what we aspire to be, to start behaving like those who we want to emulate, to “look the part”.
Eventually, things tend to fall into the grove and begin ticking off. This applies not only to individuals but also to organizations.
Trust the process is perhaps one of the best pieces of advice I have heard on this.
