We picked a home in a development. Hundreds of houses.
At first, all of them start out the same. Coordinated color schemes, same driveway, same lights. Just grass and a house.
As time goes by though, every owner starts to add their own thing. Making their home their own. The patios, the furniture. Perhaps a swing. And little by little, every single house becomes different, and a thing of their own.
It’s funny that as humans, we do it the other way around. We come to the world as individuals, different from one another. And then, school, fashion, and every other thing works so hard on us to get us conform, to look average.
